Last week my husband and I took a little vacation to Rosemary Beach, Florida! We had the best time and got great weather – there is something so special about swimming in the ocean in October.
WHERE WE STAYED:
Studio Airbnb between Alys Beach and Rosemary (watch vlog here to see tour!)
WHERE WE ATE:
George’s in Alys Beach – This was probably our favorite meal! The food was delicious and although pricey, pretty on par with other restaurants in the area.
La Crema Tapas & Chocolate – This place was another favorite. All of the tapas we ordered were amazing but be sure to leave room for the chocolate fondue for two – SO yummy!
Cowgirl Kitchen – We ate here for breakfast one morning! It was nice but nothing super special – would probably be good for kids though!
Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar – We went here for lunch and had really delicious oysters and smoked tuna dip. The drinks were great, too! Sit upstairs if you can for the best view.
WHAT I WORE:
I’ll share some photos of outfits I wore but I spent most of the trip in a swimsuit or active wear. In October, the weather can be chilly in the morning and evenings and warm during the day so I suggest layers so you can adjust appropriately.
WHAT I’M HAPPY I BROUGHT:
I’m really happy I brought a few pairs of leggings, a few sports bras and workout tops, a pair of biker shorts (for warmer days), a pair of joggers and a pair of denim shorts. I’m also so happy I brought a good cover-up because the sun is strong, even in october!
WHAT I WOULD CHANGE:
I also brought a few maxi dresses and I wish I had brought shorter more casual dresses. In general it seems like everyone keeps it pretty casual, even for dinner! I would also suggest a sweatshirt – unless you are like me and want to buy one!
Other things I wore + used a lot while in Rosemary:
