Jessica and Shawn got married this past weekend at Stone Manor Country Club. My favorite photographer (and sister) Emily and I first “met” Jessica via FaceTime when she was stationed in Afghanistan this spring. It was past midnight her time but only noon for us as we chatted about her life in the military, how […]
Wedding season is back! September is normally our busiest time of year and this year is no different. I’m excited to share our first sneak peek – Katie + Adam’s Rehoboth Beach wedding! These two have been together for 13 years so every single person in the room knew them both very well. It was so special to see two families who have clearly already known and loved each other for years, come together for this ceremonial day. Without further ado, here is a sneak peek of Katie + Adam’s wedding day.
We’ve been back from Portugal for a whole month and I’m still dreaming about that trip. We first went to Portugal as a part of our after-college pre-real-life eurotrip! We loved Portugal so much we decided to come back… for twelve days! It was the most incredible trip – especially after the past year. I felt more present then I ever have on a trip and truly cherished the time with Max and my family.
Three. Years! I can’t believe it’s already been three years since I started Carla Elizabeth Studio. Since then, I’ve traveled to dozens of venues and captured the wedding day for some of the most incredible couples. To celebrate, I thought I would share some of my favorite moments in business from the last few years!
I’ve been loving spending more time in Washington D.C. area for recent weddings so I’m particularly excited to share Kate + George’s wedding film today! These two were the sweetest, most down-to-earth couple and it was an honor to capture their classic D.C. wedding along with sister Emily as their photographer.
It’s so funny how people are introduced. Nora and I met because she went to college with Max. Nora and Chris met in the beer line on Spring Break in college. What started out as a conversation in the beer line soon become much, much more. Nora even told a friend that Chris was the guy she would end up marrying! From portraits along the Georgetown waterfront to the incredible Irish band for the reception, their day was a blast and so perfectly them.
