Winter is coming, and that means it’s time to start thinking about what coats and jackets you will need to keep you warm. For plus-size women, this can be a daunting task. There are so many different styles of plus size winter coats available, how do you know which one is right for you? In this blog post, we will take a look at 5 different styles of winter coats that are sure to keep you warm and stylish all season long!
I’m definitely someone who owns a coat for every occasion and weather type. Here in Maryland, we get four seasons and all types of weather in the winter months. Sometimes I need to protect myself against extreme cold or sometimes it’s super windy and rainy. Whatever the case maybe in your area, I have a coat that will work for you!
Puffer Jackets
Puffer jackets are a great option for plus-size women. They are warm, comfortable, and come in a variety of styles and colors. We also love Amazon’s selection of puffer coats. They come in a variety of warmth levels and a lot of them come up to a 6X. Plus, the price is right and most of them are ultra-affordable. Pictured below are some of my favorites.
Short puffer jackets provide a moderate level of warmth and are great for travel because they can be squished down and packed into a small space. Long line puffers are great for anyone who spends more time outside in the winter; whether commuting to work or taking long strolls in the snow.

I love the silhouette a trench coat provides. The cinched waist and roomy bottom are flattering on almost everyone.
