4 Plus Size Pieces You Need from Old Navy This Spring
Instagram ads got me again and I placed an order with Old Navy online. I’ve actually been trying to shop in-store there more (because they have plus sizes in store!!) but when I saw these items I was worried they would sell out so I had to grab them.
I got 7 items but there were 4 real winners in my book!
*A note about sizing! I’m normally a size 20 or 2x and ordered each item in a 2x. I am 5 food 10 inches tall.*
#1 PowerSoft Leggings
I have NO IDEA why I haven’t already tried these leggings. They fit SO well and come in a ton of great colors. I got them in the Forest Shade color and LOVE them. They are high-waisted, have a nice thick waist band, have a great 7/8 length and are smoothing on the tush (if you know what I mean!) Compared to my favorite Athleta Elation tights, they are on the thinner side and have a slightly more workout feel. This pair has pockets on the side, too! Wearing at 2x. (Bra Top Linked here)
#2 Tiered All Day Dress
For some reason this dress gave me Nap Dress vibes so I grabbed it. It comes in a bunch of cute colors (including a fun hot pink) but I got it in this royal blue color. The fun part of this dress is the wide-v, off the shoulder neckline! Its very flattering and kind of unexpected. The skirt of the dress is pretty standard for a tiered dress and the length hit me right in the middle of my shin. The back has a functional tie and smocking for a comfortable fit. Wearing a 2x.
#3 Lightweight Workout Tank
I recently started going to Crossfit so I was in the market for some new workout tanks. I believe in splurging on your sports bras and leggings but I try to find affordable top options for working out! This one was a win (I tried two others too – listed below). I liked the material because it felt super lightweight and I loved that it was high-neck. Theres nothing worse then bending over and feeling like people can see right down your shirt! Overall a great workout tank for a great price (I think it was $10 when I ordered!) Wearing a 2x.
#4 White Shirt Dress
I grabbed this with our upcoming trip to Charleston in mind. This is a very cute style with functional buttons (would be nursing friendly!) and a tie waist. I love the color and the fabric is double layered so it has decent coverage for a white dress. I think I would still wear these nude bike shorts and a nude bra! Wearing a 2x.

Exercise Swing Dress
This whole order was placed because of this exercise dress – but sadly, it was a big disappointment! It didn’t come with shorts underneath! I personally thought that was the whole point of an exercise dress! It was also quite short on me (I’m 5’10”!) I’m considering buying a 3X and trying my own shorts underneath – or I may go on a search for the perfect exercise dress elsewhere. Wearing a 2x. SHOP EXERCISE DRESS
Tunic Workout Tank
This was another workout tank I tried! First off, the fabric was so soft! That being said, I feel like it wasn’t a real workout material and might end up feeling heavy when sweaty. I liked the split hem and the longer tunic length but overall I didn’t love it so I’ll probably return. Wearing a 2x in this. SHOP WORKOUT TANK
Ribbed “Workout” Tank
This is marketed as a workout “performance” tank but truthfully it just felt like a normal tank to me! Again, I don’t think the fabric would be particularly good for working out – although it would probably work as a regular tank! Wearing a 2x. SHOP RIBBED TANK
