Pretty much everything in 2020 was unusual and Christmas was no different. It was our first Married Christmas and I had dreams of a perfect two days of wrapping presents, holiday movies, hot cocoa, and lots and lots of relaxing. But then, our basement flooded right as we left for Christmas Eve dinner. While it was still magical and special, we did end up cleaning a little more than I planned! Thankfully there was no real damage from the flood. This is definitely one of those stories I hope we get to tell our grandchildren about.
