I just got back from our weeklong spring break trip to Charleston, South Carolina! I went with my husband, parents and sister and her family. We had the best time so I wanted to share a couple of my favorites from the trip.
I’ve been to Charleston before and we stayed downtown (see more about that trip here). This trip we decided to stay at Folly Beach so we could easily spend a couple days of the trip at the beach. We stayed at the Charleston Oceanfront Villas this trip and loved it. It was great for a large group and right on the beach.
We definitely took it easy this trip and didn’t pack it full of activities but here are a few favorites.
Carriage Ride around Downtown Charleston
Charleston City Markets
Magnolia Plantation Tour
Shopping in Mount Pleasant
Shopping on Kings Street – Be sure to check out the Madison Mathews store (they carry up to a xxl!)
Boat Tour of Folly River
Explore Pineapple Fountain
Visit Rainbow Row
Charleston is a foodies paradise and our meals did not disappoint!
Callie’s Little Hot Biscuit
Leon’s – Oysters + Fried Chicken
Post House Inn
The Darling Oyster Bar
Revelry Brewery
Lost Dog Cafe – Folly Beach
82 Queen
Rodney Scotts BBQ
Lewis’ BBQ
We went mid-April so the weather was LOVELY! Mid-70s everyday and high-60s in the evenings. Below is everything I packed!
