Jessica and Shawn got married this past weekend at Stone Manor Country Club. My favorite photographer (and sister) Emily and I first “met” Jessica via FaceTime when she was stationed in Afghanistan this spring. It was past midnight her time but only noon for us as we chatted about her life in the military, how she met Shawn, and her plans for her wedding. They choose a beautiful venue, and with the help of their family and friends, transformed the Stone Manor ballroom into a room that was perfectly them.
Jessica’s daughter, McKenzie, may have had the best time of all. She kept referring to her mom as the Queen of the day, and her the princess. She was so obviously thrilled that Shawn was now her step-dad and loved that she got her own special dance with him during the reception.
Jessica + Shawn were so clearly meant for each other. They had so much fun together and seemed most comfortable when they were by each others sides. So without further ado, Jessica and Shawn’s sneak peek…
