When Gabi and Zach first told me about their intentions for their wedding, I knew it was going to be great. Their story had begun long ago as just friends. Eventually, their love blossomed and one day, under the guise of catching a baby bird, Zach opened his hands and surprised Gabi by proposing on their front porch. That sentiment of unhurried, genuine love carried through to their big day. They simply wanted to become husband and wife with the people they love most in their lives. The chaos of planning a wedding can often distract a couple from what they want most out of their day, but Gabi and Zach were steadfast in their priorities. Nothing mattered much as long as they got to celebrate their marriage with family and friends.
With that vision, their day came together in a way that was completely authentic to them. Their beautiful wooded outdoor setting on a private estate needed little enhancing. Romantic peach and blush flowers paired with lush greenery highlighted the season and felt natural to the surroundings. One of the sweetest details was that Gabi rode up to the ceremony with her father in an antique truck and later was swept away by Zach in the same truck for their grand exit under a tunnel of sparklers.
We are so honored to have been able to capture this gorgeous day for such a sweet couple. I hope this film always brings them back to these special moments.
